When a customer collapsed at the store, Lacey Marine owner Dan Tholan jumped into action to help. He's being celebrated by Lacey police. LACEY, NJ — A local business owner has been awarded by Lacey police for helping to save the life of a customer. On April 3, Kurt Kruger was shopping at Lacey Marine when a medical episode made his heart stop, causing him to stop breathing and fall to the floor, police said. An owner of the shop, Dan Tholan, "immediately recognized the need for assistance," police said.
