Avis Car Rental in Lacey, Washington

The WORST customer service---- they do NOT care about your time--- Ive honestly NEVER witnessed grown ass men moving so slow, & condescending attitudes! WOW No Thanks--- U-Haul may charge a little more , but it is worth it! DONT RENT FROM THESE JERKS-

Traveling from 1100 miles away, we had an issue with our truck and had to get it in the shop to be repaired. We have extended warranty coverage which not only helps pay for repairs, but allows us to get a rental car (for up to a certain dollar amount per day). I spoke to our extended warranty company and asked what protocol is in order to get a rental vehicle and was told that they have accounts with all the major car rental companies and to just go in to the rental company and let them know which extended warranty company I am with and it shouldn't be an issue. I chose Avis for the sole fact that I get a discount at Avis through my employer. I walked in and greeted the guy at the desk. I told him our situation and that I had xxxx extended warranty and that the representative told me they had accounts with all major rental companies. He replied by telling me that it didn't really work that way, he was pretty sure I would be paying out of pocket and reimbursed by my extended warranty because that's how an insurance claim he had done in the past worked. He also told me he wasn't really sure, he had only been there about 2 months but that's how the last issue went. I then called my extended warranty back, while he got on the phone with his boss. I spoke to someone and they wanted to talk to the Avis representative, when I told the Avis representative that he told me he wasn't interested in talking to them and was very rude about it. My husband then confronted him when he got off the phone and asked him why he was being so rude and he blamed it on his boss, that his boss wasn't interested in the business. By far the most piss poor customer service I could have hoped to receive when I have 3 kids to get around 1100 miles away from home. I don't care what kind of discount I'm offered, there is no way I would patronize this business. Enterprise was very pleasant and BEYOND helpful in getting us back on the road and have gained my business from here on out! If 0 stars were an option, they would get that rating instead.
