Freshman Joey Davis rushed for a career-high 72 yards, scored his first touchdown and had an interception in Lacey's 28-0 victory over rival Central Regional in Bayville. Trevor Santucci put Lacey on the scoreboard in the first quarter when he caught a touchdown pass from Nick Maertens, the first of two TD receptions Santucci had on the day for Lacey (2-4). Santucci, a senior, caught five passes for 95 yards, while Maertens completed 7-of-10 attempts for 130 yards. Joey Preston, who rushed for a touchdown in the first quarter ran 15 times for 68 yards overall.
